Project Jeans Culture
October 29th, 2009 | Published in Design
Jeans Culture (www.jeansculture.com.sg) is an apparel/retail business set up in December 2008 by my cousin. The company brings in quality and unique denim wear to complement the trendy Singapore denim market. It is the distributor for Red Type Jeans, which is a denim brand based in Hungary. They have a retail outlet set up on Bali Lane in Singapore.
My cousin approached me early in the year to get advice on marketing activities she could do to generate awareness of her store and her company. So, I decided to take on this challenge as my first-ever freelance project (before MAP2Café came along). As per what I did for MAP2Café, I started off by proposing a few logo ideas and business card designs, and coordinated the printing of business cards. Other design efforts include website creation (www.jeansculture.com.sg), gift certificate and promotion leaflet. I also drafted a press release to announce the launch of the retail outlet, which my cousin used to pitch it to various lifestyle publications.
Project Summary:
- Logo design
- Business card design and coordination of print
- Gift certificate design
- Website customised and built on WordPress
- Press release draft (sent out by my cousin)
